Can you tell us a bit about what you do at Urban Wool?

What made you decide to set up Urban Wool?
We love all things natural and we really believe that wool bedding is the optimum choice for the best night’s sleep. We wanted to introduce more people in the UK to the benefits of sleeping with wool. To show them that this luxurious product is better for their health and kinder to the environment. It is affordable too and will last for years if well looked after.

Do you have any recommendations for looking after and washing wool bedding?
Unlike some companies, Urban Wool duvets, pillows, mattress toppers and throws can be machined washed. We recommend that you use a non-biological or wool detergent – Greenscents laundry liquid would be perfect as its organic and gentle! Wash on a wool setting and line dry if you can or leave to dry naturally inside.
